This is going to be the first post that I am making having waited to start it with some good news.
On 12th June, 2009, Jagbir Redhu's (Jayantika) son Himanshu got married to Kalyani nee Kharadkar at Jayantika itself having tied their knot after a very simple ceremony.
In the evening the parents hosted a grand dinner at The Orchid, Uttrayan, Siliguri attended by many planters as well as locals.
On the 16th June, Dr F Rahman had his 75 birthday attended by yours truly, Sugato Basu, Swapan and Kalyani Duttas, Dr and Mrs I D Singh, Khalid and Nilofar, Dipy Ghaffar, Arup and Karobi.
Dr Rahman's daughter Yasmeen with hubby Vibhas and a very pretty daughter Shagun flew down from Kolkata. Dr Rahman's son Javed flew down from Bangalore to be with their father.
Nilofar has recently undergone some medical attention and she is feeling much better.
